The Genghis Khan Mausoleum in Ordos, built in 1954, commemorates the founder of the Mongol Empire. Although Genghis Khan's actual burial site remains unknown, the mausoleum houses relics associated with him and serves as a spiritual center for Mongolians worldwide. The complex features traditional Mongolian architecture with golden roofs.
