Zhujiajiao is a 1,700-year-old water town on the outskirts of Shanghai, founded during the Three Kingdoms period. With 36 stone bridges, numerous canals, and Ming-Qing dynasty buildings, it offers a glimpse into traditional Jiangnan water town life. The town was a prosperous trading center during the Ming dynasty.
